If you use your EPS system regularly you should charge the battery after every ride. You should charge your battery once a month if you are storing your bike and not using it for extended periods of time (3 months or more). Always make sure the battery magnet stop or magnetic battery strap is in place when the system is not in use to avoid damage to your battery. If you have just purchased a bicycle fitted with EPS, you should perform a full battery charge before using the bicycle.
