My Campagnolo wheelset was supplied with brake pads, do I have to use these?

You must use Campagnolo specific pads if supplied with your wheelset. The compounds in the brake pads are specific to the wheels. Harder compounds in other non-specific pads can cause overheating during braking and damage your rims.
